Karachi wastes food.
We rescue it.
FoodLoot is Pakistan's first surplus-food platform — turning unsold restaurant meals into affordable Loot Bags before they hit the bin.
A food crisis hiding in plain sight.
Pakistan throws away enough food to feed millions, while millions go without. The numbers are jarring — and they get worse the closer you look.
Founder · Karachi
"We'd walk past Hobnob and Coffee Wagera at 9pm and watch them bin trays of food we couldn't afford at noon. The math was insulting."
FoodLoot didn't start with a deck. It started with the same conversation, repeated for two years between a few of us in PECHS, Gulshan, and DHA: why is the only affordable food in this city the food nobody chose to make?
We were students and first-job-out-the-gate professionals on Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,000 a day. Meanwhile every café we admired — Paul, Hobnob, Coffee Wagera, Black Honey — was binning trays at closing. The croissant we couldn't afford at noon was going into a black bag at 10pm.
That gap was the whole idea. Rescue what's already made. Sell it cheap to the people who actually wanted it. Pay the vendor for food they were about to lose. Nobody loses.
Surplus food, in your hands within hours.
FoodLoot isn't a delivery app. It's a same-day rescue model that connects you directly with restaurants that have surplus food — at the moment they have it.
Restaurants list a Loot Bag
By midday, partner cafés tell us what surplus they expect to have. We list it as a Surprise Bag with three sizes and a deep discount.
You reserve in the app
Browse what's available near you, pick a bag, pay in seconds. The restaurant sees the order instantly.
Walk in, scan, done
Show your QR code at pickup, collect your bag, eat well. The food gets rescued. Karachi wastes a little less.
Three things we never compromise on.
Every product decision at FoodLoot — pricing, partners, features — comes back to these.
Rescue First
Every Loot Bag is real food a partner café was hours away from binning. Same-day only. Never reheated, never frozen leftovers, never restaurant inventory that would have sold anyway.
Measured in kilograms saved, not just revenue.Support Local
We launch only with independent Karachi cafés, restaurants, and bakeries. No mega-chains. No franchises. Every order puts real money back into the small businesses that make this city's food culture.
8 independent partners on board, all founder-run.Make it Accessible
Restaurant-quality food shouldn't only be for people paying full price. Up to 70% off means a PKR 950 spread costs PKR 500 — within reach for students, families, and anyone trying to eat well on a budget.
Up to 70% off the original price, every day.Eight Karachi favourites — and growing fast.
The independent cafés and bakeries rescuing food with us from day one. Spanning DHA, Clifton, Tariq Road, and Bahadurabad.

Karachi today. Pakistan tomorrow.
A mission this size doesn't happen in a quarter. Here's the path we're on — and the milestones we're holding ourselves to.
Karachi launch
Karachi eats harder than any city in Pakistan. Burns Road, Tariq Road, Bahadurabad, Bukhari — there's a café shutter coming down on full shelves at 10pm in every one. We're proving the model in the hardest market first, with eight independent partners and three neighbourhoods.
Lahore & Islamabad
Same playbook, two new cities. Onboarding 50+ partners across the country and bringing the rescue model to anyone with a phone in Pakistan's biggest food markets.
1M+ meals rescued
One million Loot Bags collected. Thousands of tonnes of food diverted from landfill. A genuine national change in how Pakistan handles surplus.
